Megan Thee Stallion Settles Lawsuit With Former Label. | Entertainment

Megan Thee Stallion has reached a settlement with her former record label over their long-standing legal dispute.  The lawsuit against 1501 Certified Entertainment was first filed by the rapper in 2020; she claimed the label was not allowing her to release music.  She said at the time that she “didn’t really know” what was in her contract when she first signed it at 20 years old.  While no details on the agreement were disclosed, it is reported that the two have agreed to “amicably part ways.” The rapper has subtly suggested that she is now an independent artist, saying she doesn’t “want to sign to a new label right now.”
