Pop icon Miley Cyrus has shared her perspective on touring, highlighting the toll it takes on her well-being and artistic connection. In a series of videos on her TikTok account, Cyrus expressed how the intense demands of touring adversely affect her. She previously revealed her reluctance to tour again to British Vogue, citing its isolating nature. “Having every day the relationship between you and other humans being subject and observer isn’t healthy for me, because it erases my humanity and my connection and without my humanity [and] my connection I can’t be a songwriter, which is my priority” Miley Cyrus. Cyrus explained that touring didn’t allow for equal rest in between the tour and that she ended up feeling “overused”. The singer has previously said that she doesn’t find touring “natural” due to the toll it takes on the artist.
