Fargo-Moorhead doesn’t have a monopoly on celebrity spouses. Here are three more from North Dakota and Minnesota.

Loni Anderson became one of the most famous blonde bombshells of the 1970s. But growing up in Minnesota she was a brunette.

Actor Loni Anderson was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota and grew up in suburban Roseville, As a senior at Alexander Ramsey Senior High School in Roseville, she was voted Queen of the Valentine’s Day Winter Formal of 1963.

Following graduation she set off for Hollywood. Her acting debut came with a bit part in the film “Nevada Smith,” starring Steve McQueen. Later, she made frequent guest appearances on a television.

She auditioned, but did not win the role of Chrissy, on the sitcom “Three’s Company,” but her star was on the rise, leading to the role that brought her fame—receptionist Jennifer Marlowe on the sitcom “WKRP in Cincinnati.”

Anderson married movie legend Burt Reynolds in 1988. They adopted a son, but the couple divorced in 1994.

On May 17, 2008, she married musician Bob Flick, one of the founding members of the folk band The Brothers Four

.

They had originally met at a movie premiere in Minneapolis in 1963.

Brynn Hartman was born Vicki Jo Omdahl in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

On November 25, 1987, she married Phil Hartman, of “Saturday Night Live” fame. They had two children.

Brynn Hartman acted in small roles on television and film. She can be seen having dinner with Hartman during the opening credit sequence of Saturday Night Live in the early 1990s.

On May 28, 1998, she killed her husband in his sleep, shooting him three times with a revolver. She died by suicide a short time later.

Actor/Model Leslie Bibb was born in Bismarck, N.D. and was raised in Virginia.

In 1990, when she was just 16, she won a modeling contest on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”

Bibb first appeared on television in 1996, playing in episodes of “Pacific Blue” and “Home Improvement.” Her first film role came in the Howard Stern comedy “Private Parts.”

She’s also appeared in “Crossing Jordan,” “E.R.” and “GCB.”

She has been in a relationship with actor Sam Rockwell since 2007 when they reportedly met in Los Angeles as he was filming “Frost/Nixon.” They both appeared in “Iron Man 2” and “Don Verdean.”
