Names of swimmers who drowned in Panama City Beach released


PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – The names of the three swimmers who died after swimming in the gulf have been released.

Bay County Sheriff’s Office officials made a post to social media Saturday, naming the victims.

They said the three men were Harold Denzel Hunter, age 25, Jemonda Ray, age 24, and Marius Richardson, age 24. The three men died after swimming in the gulf Friday night just before 8 p.m. and reportedly got caught in a rip current.

The men were reportedly from Birmingham, Alabama.
