Prince Harry Turned Down King’s Invitation To Stay In UK | Entertainment

Prince Harry reportedly declined a meeting with King Charles during his recent visit to the UK due to security concerns. Although it was understood that the father and son did not see each other due to the king’s busy schedule, this was allegedly not the case. According to The Telegraph, Prince Harry was given the chance to stay at a royal residence during his visit but turned it down. This was because the property had no security provisions. The Duke of Sussex therefore opted to stay in a hotel where he “could come and go unseen” instead of staying at a “visible location.” Prince Harry’s right to public-funded security in the UK was taken away when he and wife Meghan Markle left their royals as senior royals. In February, Prince Harry traveled from his home in Los Angeles to see his father after his cancer diagnosis was announced to the public. However, a Buckingham Palace source shared that there is “a zero percent chance” of the prince returning to royal duties amid the king’s illness.
