Russell Brand Questioned By Met Police Over Assault Allegations | Entertainment

The Metropolitan Police have questioned Russell Brand regarding the numerous sexual assault accusations recently made against him. Met officials confirmed that a man in his late 40s was interviewed by detectives regarding allegations of “three non-recent sexual offenses”. Several women have publicly accused the comedian of various sexual offenses spanning from 2006 to 2013, prompting the investigation. The offenses ranged from inappropriate workplace conduct to sexual harassment, assault and rape. The Met is encouraging anyone who believes they were a victim of sexual assault by Brand to contact them “no matter how long ago it was”. Brand has denied the accusations and claims that all of his relationships were “always consensual.”
