Ryan O’Neal has been buried next to his longtime lover, Farrah Fawcett.
The Love Story actor was laid to rest on Saturday following his Dec. 8 death, the UK’s Daily Mail reports. He and Fawcett are buried in Westwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles.
The former couple had an on-again, off-again relationship over the course of 30 years. They had reunited at the time of Fawcett’s death in 2009. The pair had one son together, Patrick O’Neal, who attended yesterday’s burial.
Joining their son at the service were 25 other guests, including O’Neal’s ex-wife, Leigh Taylor-Young, and Fawcett’s best friend Alana Stewart.
O’Neal died earlier this month due to congestive heart failure after several years battling with cardiomyopathy. No other cause was listed on his death certificate.
The Oscar nominee starred alongside his daughter, Tatum O’Neal, in Paper Moon. He also shared the screen with Barbra Streisand in What’s Up Doc?. His other notable film roles were in Barry Lyndon and Oliver’s Story.
