Score, highlights of NBA opener

A new season is here for the Indiana Pacers.

In 2022-23, the Pacers went 35-47, a 10-game improvement from the previous season, partly due to the play of Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner, Buddy Hield and Bennedict Mathurin.

With several new faces like Obi Toppin and Bruce Brown, along with first-round draft picks Jarace Walker and Ben Sheppard, the Pacers hope to reach the playoffs in 2023-24. Tonight, the Pacers host the Wizards in the home opener of the new season.
