Shakira “Believed In ‘Till Death Do Us Part” Before Piqué Split | Entertainment

Shakira thought she and her ex, Gerard Piqué, were going to be together forever before their split in June 2022.  The Colombian artist spoke candidly in an interview with Billboard about the demise of their 11-year relationship.  “My priority was my home, my family. I believed in ‘till death do us part. I believed that dream and I had that dream for myself, for my children,” revealed Shakira.  Shakira aspired to have a relationship like her parents, who have been together for 50 years.  “They love each other like the first day, with a love that’s unique and unrepeatable, so I know it’s possible. It’s what I wanted, but it didn’t happen,” said Shakira.  Shakira and her sons, Milan and Sasha, have moved to Miami, as she plans on releasing new music and touring in 2024.
