Shania Twain’s Reaction To Taylor Swift Wearing Her Shirt

Taylor Swift stepped out in New York City a couple weeks ago wearing an outfit that immediately goes in the Iconic Looks Archive: a pair of bike shorts, New Balance x Ganni sneakers, and a Shania Twain t-shirt from Daydreamer.

And if you’re wondering how Shania feels about the sartorial shoutout, she was asked about Taylor’s fit by Drew Barrymore and is fully obsessed.

“Right, isn’t she a doll?” Shania said. “I feel like I’m her aunt or something. We’re in sync in a lot of ways. And I really have a lot of respect and compassion for her whole…the weight of any young artist in her position is enormous, and she just gets through it so—seemingly so effortlessly. But we all know that it’s not, it’s a lot of effort, it’s a lot of work, she’s a hard, hard worker, so anyway, it’s really cool, I think that was sweet.”

Psst: Taylor’s exact shirt is back in stock after being briefly sold out due to Swifties rushing to buy it—so go ahead and grab from Daydreamer:

And FYI, Taylor has been a huge fan of—and looked up to—Shania Twain for years, as you can tell from this TikTok:

Shania also attended the Eras Tour back in March, so clearly she’s also a huge Swiftie and we can expect her to be seen in Eras Tour merch any moment now.
