Spain vs France live updates: Euro 2024 match confirmed team news, predictions and line-ups

Three changes for Spain, and they are the expected ones from De la Fuente.

The suspended Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand are replaced by Jesus Navas and Nacho in defence, while Dani Olmo takes over from the injured Pedri at No 10.

Olmo was man of the match with a goal and assist in Spain’s quarter-final win over Germany, so there are no worries there. On form, he would probably have replaced Pedri in the XI anyway.

The concerns would be at the back. Former Man City winger Navas turns 39 in November and will have a big test if he’s marking Mbappe tonight.

Nacho was fourth choice centre-back at Real Madrid for much of last season, where Carlo Ancelotti often even preferred to start France midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni in the back four instead.

Nacho did however turn that around and earned a place in the XI, as he captained the team to win the Champions League in his final game.
