Tuesday’s Storm Summary:
A strong line of storms pushed through SE Texas bringing severe hail up to golf ball sized, damaging winds and heavy rainfall. Over three inches of rain fell downtown. The strongest winds were documented at 75 miles per hour near Bush Airport, which caused flooding in some areas and debris in others. Power outages were spiking over 300-thousand during the height of the storm around 2:30 p.m.

Tonight’s Forecast:
Most of the night should be calm. There is a chance to see some additional storms flaring up early Wednesday morning through sunrise for our far western counties.
Wednesday’s Forecast:
Wednesday will be hot and humid with a chance for showers and storms in the afternoon.
10-Day Forecast:
Finally there is no excessive heat in the 10-day forecast. We will see storms through Sunday morning. Next week looks dry and hot.
