SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Studio Central Post, a post-production facility, has opened a 30,000-square-foot facility at 219 S. West St. in Syracuse.

Its location is equipped with next-generation technology and amenities, the company said in its Wednesday announcement. It’s “meticulously” designed to elevate every aspect of the feature and episodic post-production process.

Studio Central says it offers filmmakers the chance to “maximize” the state’s enhanced tax incentives. “Surpassing the incentive available in New York City,” filmmakers can access an additional 15 percent, “elevating” the total state incentive to 45 percent. Onondaga County also provides a grant of up to $300,000, in addition to the state incentive, “further amplifying this already generous offer.”

“We are beyond thrilled to introduce Studio Central to the entertainment community,” Robert Dehn, director of post-production for Studio Central Post, said in the company’s announcement. “Our mission is to empower storytellers by offering top-tier post-production services in a dynamic and inspiring environment. With our state-of-the-art facilities and dedicated team of professionals, we are committed to providing flexible solutions that cater to the diverse needs of our clients, ensuring we play a vital role in the creative landscape of Syracuse and beyond.”

In its announcement, Studio Central listed several features of its facility. They include a dual-purpose re-recording mixing and color grading Atmos theater, two dedicated 4K HDR Dolby Atmos mix stages, two “world class” ADR stages, a 2D/3D animation studio, 22 sound / picture editorial offices, and meeting and conference rooms.
