Good morning/surprise: Taylor Swift just announced that she’s releasing an Eras Tour book!
“We’ll be kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to comprehend,” Taylor said on Twitter. “This tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way. Well, two ways actually. Excited to announce that The Official Eras Tour Book, filled with my own personal reflections, never-before-seen behind the scenes photos, all the magical memories you guys brought every single night AND….The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD will all be available for the first time ever only at @Target starting Nov 29th. International info coming soon!”
Psst: Tay also dropped the news on GMA, who had a few extra details.
This news comes just days ahead of Taylor resuming the Eras Tour on October 18 in Miami, where fans are convinced she is going to announce Rep TV—mostly because both Shawn Mendes and Joe Jonas postponed their own October 18 albums.
As a reminder, the Eras Tour is wrapping up its absolutely epic run in December, news which Taylor revealed while performing in Liverpool during her 100th show.
“This has definitely been the most exhausting, all-encompassing but most joyful, most rewarding, most wonderful thing that has ever happened in my life, this tour,” Taylor said. “A lot of people have been like, ‘How are you going to celebrate the 100th show?’ The celebration of the 100th show for me means this is the very first time I’ve ever acknowledged to myself and admitted that this tour is going to end in December. Like, that’s it. And that feels like so far away from now, but then again, it feels like we just played our first show on this tour because you have made this so much fun for us that we wanted to do 100 shows, 150-something shows that we have on the whole tour.”
