Taylor Swift took home nine awards at the 2023 VMAs, the most awards ever received in one night and also second-most overall wins. Swift entered this year’s VMAs with 14 wins already, as well as the most nominations for 2023, with eleven. The 33-year-old pop star now has a total of 23 VMAs to her name, falling just behind Beyoncé who has 26. Some of Swift’s wins this year include Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Show of the Summer and Album of the Year. This is the fourth time in her career that she’s won Video of the Year and this time for her song ‘Anti-Hero’. “OK. This is unbelievable. This is… I just want to say that the fact that this is a fan-voted award means so much to me based on the memories that we’ve made recently”, said Swift in her Video of the Year acceptance speech.
