At a recent Eras Tour show in Buenos Aires, Taylor Swift asked the crowd not to throw things on stage as a “present” landed next to her. During the Evermore set of her show at the Estadio River Plate, Swift calmly addressed the crowd. “Just because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries… it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage. Because if it’s on the stage then a dancer can trip on it,” she explained. Swift also added that she loves that fans “bought presents” and it “is so nice,” but urged them not to be thrown on stage: “I love you so much.” Fans throwing things at performers on stage has recently become a popular and dangerous trend. P!nk was recently left stunned during a performance in London when a fan threw their mother’s ashes on stage.
