AUSTIN, Tex. (KGNS) – Governor Greg Abbott announced Wednesday, July 10, that 67 Texas counties, including Webb County, will receive federal aid following the impacts of Hurricane Beryl.
The counties are eligible for 75% reimbursement of costs for debris removal and emergency protective measures. Texas is also deploying resources such as cooling centers and medical support to affected communities.
Texans affected by the hurricane are encouraged to report damages using the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT). This information helps identify the need for federal disaster assistance.
