The ‘Barbie’ Orchestral Concert Is Going On Tour | Entertainment


A live orchestral concert of the ‘Barbie’ movie score is going on tour this summer, with an all-female orchestra playing alongside a screening of the film. ‘Barbie The Movie: In Concert’ will be performed by Macy Schmidt and the Barbie Land Sinfonietta in 37 cities across the US and Canada. Producer of the concert, Mary Schmidt, wrote in an Instagram post, “Surprise!!! Did you think we were done?!” alongside a poster for the tour. Tour stops will include Florida, Milwaukee, Kansas City, Houston, Nashville, Los Angeles and Toronto. The ‘Barbie’ score was composed by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, who received a 2024 Grammy nomination for Best Score Soundtrack Album. ‘Barbie The Movie: In Concert’ kicks off on July 2 in Tampa, Florida and is set to run until August 8, finishing up in Wantagh, New York.
