The Complete Guide to Parties and Events (Updating) – The Hollywood Reporter


With the biggest night in music just around the corner, artists, executives and other industry creatives are celebrating with parties spread throughout the week. A-listers from Lenny Kravitz to Kelsea Ballerini and Ice Spice are among the many making appearances and performing at various events across Los Angeles.

The 66th annual Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, will air live on CBS from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 4. The event will also stream live and on demand on Paramount+.

Some of the celebrations happening this week include Warner Music Group’s party to honor the label’s 2024 Grammy-nominated artists and songwriters, Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy gala and Universal Music Group’s after party. Below is a roundup of what’s to come in the days surrounding the 2024 Grammys.

Tuesday, Jan. 30

Hollywood & Mind Grammy Week Spotlight on Mental Health in the Music Industry
The London, 1020 N San Vicente Blvd., West Hollywood
4-7 p.m.

The event will feature conversations surrounding mental health in the music industry with artists, including Brent Smith of Shinedown, Em Beihold, Maroon 5 founding member Ryan Dusick, Splice, Milk & Honey, MusiCares and more.

The Resonator Awards
Beauty & Essex, 1615 Cahuenga Blvd, Los Angeles
6 p.m.

We Are Moving the Needle, the organization founded by Grammy Award-winning mastering engineer Emily Lazar to close the gender gap in the recording studio, is hosting the first annual Resonator Awards to honor outstanding women in production and engineering roles. Honorees include Alanis Morissette, Corinne Bailey Rae, Caroline Polachek, Catherine Marks, Laura Sisk, Jennifer Decilveo, Michael Goldstone and Christine Thomas. Those presenting the awards are Lazar, Shirley Manson, boygenius, Jack Antonoff, Ariel Rechtshaid, Fletcher and Autumn Rowe.

In Our DNA: Hip House Screening

Black Experience on Xfinity and 300 Studios Red Carpet are hosting an exclusive red carpet screening of their docuseries In Our DNA: Hip House. The three-part series, which examines the birth, evolution and collision of hip-hop and house music, is out now exclusively on Comcast’s Black Experience on Xfinity channel and Xumo.

Billboard & Tres Generaciones Tequila Celebrate The New Nominees
6-8 p.m.
The Collaboration will kick off at Billboard’s Power 100 event and include the release of “Get Up Anthems” to showcase regional music that inspires major cities.

CÎROC Limonata Celebrates Victoria Monét at Jaguar II Grammy Party
West Hollywood
9 p.m.-1 a.m.

CÎROC introduces the newest permanent flavor CÎROC Limonata and toasts to Monét’s seven nominations with an exclusive first taste of the new flavor before its release on Feb 1.

BMI’s GRAMMY Award Nominees Celebration

Recording Academy Songwriters & Composers Wings’ A Celebration of Craft

The celebration — a first joint Grammy week event for the Academy’s craft wings — will salute the year-round work of the Producers & Engineers and Songwriters & Composers Wings and shine a light on the people working behind the scenes to create the year’s best musical works. Leslie Ann Jones will also be honored at the event.

Handling Your Business: Play Smart & Win Big Event

Black Music Action Coalition will kick off its Grammy Week celebrations with an exclusive, invite-only dinner hosted in collaboration with legendary producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. The event will feature a tribute by 1500 or Nothin’ and friends, as well as a DJ set by Jermaine Dupri.

Black Music Collective With Lenny Kravitz

At the third-annual Grammy week event, music icon Lenny Kravitz will receive the Recording Academy Global Impact Award, presented by the Black Music Collective.

The seventh annual event will include live performances from the best new artists nominees including Gracie Abrams, Coco Jones, Noah Kahan, Victoria Monét, Jelly Roll, Ice Spice and The War and Treaty.

Warner Music Group Party

Warner Music Group’s annual Grammy kickoff celebration will feature live performances by Charli XCX and Teddy Swims. ASCAP Grammy Brunch

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers kicks off Grammy weekend by bringing together its nominated songwriters, composers and special guests for an afternoon of music and drinks. Attendees will include Kelsea Ballerini, Leon Thomas, Carly Pearce, Laufey, Natalia Lafourcade, David Guetta, Dan Nigro and Slipknot.

2024 GRAMMY U Masterclass with Halle Bailey
