The current GC standings at the Tour de France 2024

Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) moved into the lead of the Tour de France on stage 2 to Bologna, attacking on the final ascent of the punishingly steep Côte de San Luca and distancing overnight leader Romain Bardet (Team DSM-Firmenich-PostNL).

While breakaway rider Kévin Vauquelin (Arkéa-B&B Hotels) won the stage, all eyes were on the attack from Pogačar behind. When he leapt away, only Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike) could follow.
