On this same day, the new season of CBS’ ‘The Talk’ was scheduled to premiere but has also been delayed due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes. A spokesperson for CBS told Variety, “’The Talk’ is pausing its season premiere… We will continue to evaluate plans for a new launch date”. Drew Barrymore announced the postponement of ‘The Drew Barrymore Show’’s latest season to stand in solidarity with the SAG-AFTRA strikes. This comes after Barrymore’s controversial initial decision to go ahead with the show, despite three of the show’s unionized writers being on strike.
