Huge celebrities, including Taylor Swift and Margot Robbie, did not attend the People’s Choice Awards (PCA). Even though ‘Barbie’ was nominated for six awards, Robbie and Greta Gerwig were not in attendance as they were at the BAFTAs. However, America Ferrera and host Simu Liu represented the ‘Barbie’ cast, with Ferrera winning an award for her performance in the movie. Swift won four PCA awards, including Social Celebrity and Pop Artist of the Year, but she could not attend as she is currently on tour in Australia. Swift’s recent victories bring her total People’s Choice Awards to 20 over the course of her career. Swift’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, also picked up an award, beating Steph Curry and Simone Biles for Athlete of the Year.
