The Wrap-Up! Tierra Whack for SFMOMA Art Bash, Mickey Guyton at BMAC, Roberta Lea in CMT Showcase


Tierra Whack attended and performed at SFMOMA’s Art Bash, which raised $3.4 million, the museum’s highest-grossing Art Bash ticket sales to date. Art Bash supports the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art’s education, family and community engagement programs, benefiting over 150,000 people annually and making art more accessible.

The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) kicked off Stagecoach weekend with Act II: A Conversation Around “Three Chords and the Actual Truth” featuring country singer Mickey Guyton at Live Nation in Los Angeles. Stars and music industry leaders came together for a powerful and imperative discussion about Black origins in Country music and the exclusion of Black artists in the genre.

Roberta Lea performed at a CMT Next Women Of Country showcase at City Winery Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee. The singer, an alum of CMT Next Women of Country 2023, performed alongside fellow Black country artists Chapel Hill.
