JAGUAR II album release event
Cardi B, Kelly Rowland, Shenseea, JoJo, Lucky Daye and Quinta Brunson came out to celebrate the release of Victoria Monét’s second album JAGUAR II on Aug. 25. The event was sponsored by Tres Generaciones Tequila and took place at La Mesa in Los Angeles.

This Is About Humanity fifth-anniversary soirée
Lauren Sánchez was honored at This Is About Humanity’s fifth-anniversary event on Saturday, hosted at Henry Winkler’s home with support from Jeff Bezos, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Eva Longoria. This Is About Humanity was founded by Elsa Marie Collins, Zoe Winkler Reinis and Yolanda Selene Walther-Meade and directly addresses the ongoing devastation of family separation in border cities.

Cinespia Poltergeist screening
On Saturday, Cinespia hosted a screening of Poltergeist at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where Aaron Paul and his wife Lauren celebrated the star’s birthday. The screening also featured a surprise introduction from one of the film’s stars, Oliver Robins.

Celsius Pickleball Classic
Celsius hosted its first-ever celebrity Pickleball Classic over the weekend at David Dobrik’s home, with a bracket-style tournament including Dobrik, Taylor Lautner, Olivia Culpo, Tyler Cameron, Matt James, Madison Pettis, Brooks Nader, Tessa Brooks and Blake Gray.

Heirs of Afrika’s sixth annual Women of Power luncheon
Heirs of Afrika hosted its sixth annual Women of Power luncheon on Sunday in Los Angeles, hosted by Loni Love and celebrating women of leadership in the Diaspora. The event featured a performance by rapper YoYo, who was honored as a pioneer for her 50 years in hip hop.

Closing the Care Gap event
City of Hope held the third annual Closing the Care Gap event on Monday with its Music, Film and Entertainment Industry fundraising group. Hosted by global head of music at YouTube and Google Lyor Cohen and chair and CEO of Epic Records Sylvia Rhone, the event brought together industry professionals and influencers to support opportunities to achieve access to the best treatment and care available for all people facing cancer.
