The United States Men’s National Team continue with the Copa America group stage when they take on Panama tonight. It’s the second matchday for the USMNT, who won over Bolivia Sunday evening and hope to secure a berth in the knockout stage of the tournament.
The USMNT had goals from Christian Pulisic and Folarin Balogun against Bolivia in a 2-0 victory. They were able to score early and take off some of the pressure while playing fairly well on the evening. They hope to add more to their goal differential in an effort to keep pace with Uruguay and have a chance to win the group. However, Panama is an opponent that has beaten the USMNT in tournament play before. That includes last summer’s Gold Cup semifinals, where Los Canaleros advanced on penalties over the United States.
