Variety and Spotify will host the 2023 Entertainment Marketing Visionaries Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 26. The invite-only dinner, held in Los Angeles, will bring together top entertainment marketers from the film, TV, music and technology sectors.
The event will honor four visionary executives with the Variety Entertainment Marketing Visionaries Award presented by Spotify: Johanna Faries, SVP and GM of “Call of Duty” at Activision Blizzard; Josh Goldstine, president of worldwide marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures Group; Marc Weinstock, president of worldwide marketing and distribution at Paramount Pictures; and Shannon Willett, chief marketing office at Peacock.
Event award presenters include Kelly Campbell, president of Peacock; Michael De Luca, co-chair and CEO of Warner Bros. Motion Pictures Group; Brian Robbins, president and CEO Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon, and chief content office of movies and kids and family at Paramount +; and Michelle Bresaw, VP or product management and marketing at Activision.
Through an evolving landscape, these trailblazing executives have helped their companies adapt to a changing entertainment universe while capturing audiences saturated with content options.
Prior to the dinner, on Wednesday, Oct. 25, Variety will publish its annual Digital Marketing Impact Report, spotlighting marketing experts from the worlds of film, TV, streaming and music behind the most innovative content promotions of the past year. These executives at the world’s leading media companies have created some of the most effective entertainment campaigns with groundbreaking work that has pushed content to new levels of awareness and success.
Tom Henry, director of client partnerships, entertainment in the US at Spotify and Sabrina Sarnoff, director of client partnerships, entertainment in the US at Spotify will kick off the dinner with opening remarks.
