Who did the Dallas Cowboys draft? Tracking every pick in 2024

Through the first part of the offseason, the Dallas Cowboys had many more goings than comings.

What already figured to be a long list of needs got longer, and the plan all along seems to be to address that in the draft.

By virtue of winning the NFC East last year, the Cowboys were slated to pick 24th in the 32-selection first round, but moved down to 29th after a trade to Detroit. That means they have seven more picks spread across the next two days. They entered the draft without a fourth-round pick but with two seventh-round picks and picked up the extra third-rounder.

The top need is the offensive line, though the ability of Tyler Smith to play either guard or tackle gives Dallas some flexibility as to whether to draft for a tackle or interior line. Over seven rounds, they’ll probably do both. The Cowboys also have needs at running back, defensive tackle and receiver.
