Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, Kim Kardashian Booed at Tom Brady Roast

Actor Will Ferrell, dressed as his iconic Ron Burgundy character from “Anchorman,” brought laughter to viewers and attendees at Netflix’s live event in Los Angeles, where Tom Brady was being roasted.

During the event, which was filled with jokes about Brady’s ex-wife Gisele Bundchen and his “golden skin,” Ferrell added to the comedic banter. He humorously targeted Brady’s NFL counterpart Eli Manning, the former New York Giants quarterback, quipping, “You don’t see Eli Manning here tonight, do you? That’s cause Tom’s afraid of Eli Manning.” Ferrell then led the audience in chanting, “Eli Manning made Tom Brady his ‘bitch,’” drawing a blend of boos and enthusiastic participation.

Ferrell didn’t hold back in poking fun at Brady’s former Patriots coach, Bill Belichick, with jabs like, “Hey Bill, wherever you are, just know it was Tom, not you,” and a playful nod to Belichick’s current job status, “Bill, now that you’re currently unemployed, good luck on ZipRecruiter.”

Later, Ferrell introduced Belichick, who joined in to roast his star QB and teammates on stage.

Subsequently, it was Ben Affleck‘s turn later in the night to roast the “GOAT.”

The Oscar winner, known for his love of Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffees and the New England Patriots, humorously balanced his affections while ribbing his favorite NFL quarterback.

Upon walking onto the stage to a rapturous standing ovation from the crowd, Affleck began, “I’m just in time. This is pretty fucking ballsy of you.”

Affleck’s deep affection for the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffees (originating near his hometown in Quincy, Mass.) is widely known. Now retired and hailed as one of football’s greatest players, Brady has appeared in Dunkin’ commercials alongside Affleck and his close friend, Oscar-winner Matt Damon.

Affleck skewered the Patriots’ fandom, who have been critical of decisions made throughout Brady’s career and the team’s franchise. “You’re not fans. You’re a bitch.”

While not overflowing with humor, Affleck threw some funny, pointed jabs at Coach Belichick: “I got season tickets. You work for me, mother fucker.”

Host Kevin Hart took the stage after Affleck saying, “Another piece of white boy humor,” with Roastmaster Jeff Ross adding, “This is the first time I wish Netflix had commercials.”

A clear nod to a robust, three-hour-long ceremony that featured many awkward moments.

Hart then introduced surprise roaster, Peyton Manning.
