Recently, an online post titled “The YG Producer That Has Been Missing For 10 Years” went viral. In the post, the author reveals that Perry has been missing.

Perry is one of YG Entertainment’s most instrumental artists. Hailing from the United States, Perry took part in producing YG Family‘s first album in 1999 and produced JinuSean‘s 2001 3rd album.

Reports state that despite the rapper’s influence on the label’s success, his standing with YG Entertainment shrunk with the rise of 1TYM Teddy‘s production and last worked on BIGBANG‘s 2010 Japanese album cut “Beautiful Hangover” before disappearing. The report states that Perry’s contract with YG Entertainment ended in 2015.

According to an alleged family member of the producer, Perry went missing in Los Angeles around 2010. Despite notifying police of the artist’s disappearance, unfortunately, there haven’t been any sightings of the rapper.

On October 5, media site Wikitree reported that there is speculation stating Perry has kept his profile low in lieu of his alleged falling out with YG Entertainment — as K-Pop started becoming more idol-centric in the 2010s, some say Perry had creative differences with the label. The media site also cites rumors stating that the rapper might be living away from family.

According to Wikitree, the host of the Latitude13 Happy Hour podcast had reportedly claimed that they had dropped Perry off at his apartment.
